Please take note of a new scam that is happening across the state!

Town residents are receiving notices of invoices supposedly from local governments requesting payment for items related to planning commissions, town services, contracts, etc. The invoices look real, have town logos and government official information.

The Town of Spring Prairie will not email you an invoice that you do not know about and we do not take credit card payments.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND A CREDIT CARD PAYMENT to someone claiming to be from the Town of Spring Prairie!

If you are in doubt, please call the Clerk at 262-441-1721 to clarify any suspicious emails.

Scammers are subscribing to town email notifications and receiving board packet information and utilizing this to perpetuate their scam. For the time being all meeting packet items will not be posted with agendas to protect everyone. If you would like the board packet emailed to you please let me know by emailing [email protected].

If you receive a suspicious email please DO NOT OPEN ANY ATTACHMENTS OR CLICK ANY LINKS. Please call the Town Hall and notify me.
