The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is proposing to replace 3.27 miles of pavement on WIS 11 in Walworth County, and is inviting the public to attend a Public Involvement Meeting.

Join WisDOT for a public involvement meeting to learn more about the project, get your questions answered, and provide input to the project team:

• Wednesday, October 1st, 2025 | 5 – 7 p.m.
• Town Hall, Town of Spring Prairie
 (N6097 WI-120, Elkhorn, WI 53121

The purpose of this project is to address the deteriorating pavement condition, decreasing ride quality, outdated guardrails, and cross-culverts to provide long-term improvements to the pavement, operation, and safety.

Proposed Improvements:
• Replace the existing pavement with the new concrete pavement.
• Reconstruct roadside ditches.
• Construct curb and gutter at various locations to minimize right-of-way impact.
• Replace 10 cross culverts.
• Replace six guardrails.
• Replace signs and pavement marking.

Traffic and Right-of-Way Impacts:
• A detour for through traffic is likely during construction.
• Both temporary and permanent right-of-way is likely required along the corridor.
Construction is anticipated to start in 2030, but could begin in 2029 if funding is available
